Offline for photos....

Sorry to say that I'll be cut off from uploading pictures in my blog from now onwards until a date which myself is also unsure. The reason - Internet here in Australia is with quota, means upload and download quota. Exceed that quota and you'll be shaped from ADSL2/2+ to dialup speed. And now, I don't know which bastard in my new house download and upload using torrent. We are basically shaped for 25gb in just 3 days after connection of the Internet Line. Well, the only thing I can do now at most is blog using words instead of pictures....And sad to say, my camera had been sitting inside its house since it came here. I havent got the time yet to actually warm my hands on it. Its like insufficient time this time when I got back here, rather than plenty of time compared to last semester. I wonder WHY....

Plan to go to Adelaide during easter break is also dropped due to expensive air tickets to fly during easter....So, its either North or South expedition then...

Well, got back home quite early - 1.41p.m. today. Finished class at around 1100, went for lunch at the usual place - Chilliz where most students prefer due to its cheap price compared to on campus food. Then went back to the lab to attempt my assignment question for Analytical Marketing then sent off to the lecturer for some clarification. Then, home I came.
Plans for the rest of the day: Watch drama till around 3; get a short nap; go Bunnings get water hose then wash car; cook dinner!.

What a day....

House Moving

So exhausted of moving more than half of my stuffs to my new residence...Packed, unpacked, arrange then bath..took me more than 3 hours...Still got part of my stuffs left at my old house though. Gonna grab them tomorrow.

My new residence - 6 people stayin in this house. The house is newly constructed with part of it still under construction. Quite a pleasant place as the room is more spacious compared to my previous one.

Well, will take more pics of the compound and the house sometime later. Let see how my room looks like:

Today 1 year ago...

8th March 2009.. Sitting at home reviewing some of the HSSE Training Matrix stuffs. Flipping through Incident management makes me recalled what happened exactly one year ago, 8th March 2008. Its not the day BN lost in the landslide, but its a tragedy that will always remind me of how Fatigue and the attitude of 'not my business' resulted in the lost of an innocent life on the road.

To know more about what happened, I'll have to refer to the posting I did exactly 1 year ago.

http://calvin-chong.blogspot.com/2008/03/collapse-of-human-nature-extinction-of.html

Let us all observe a moment of silence and let those cruel images remind us to be alert and responsible on the road.....

Its 1 year since Copta lost his life on the road....May you find peace in heaven and your family be blessed....So long Copta..

My Honda Civic 1996 GLi

6th March 2009, I've got to buy a 2nd hand Honda Civic 1996 GLi for the price of AUD4000. Overall the car is greatly kept, only with paintwork fading on the roof which is normal due to weather deterioration on it. Engine and transmission is working perfectly great...No engine oil leaks and maintenance record is very good...I got it after surveyin online and the I bought it from Mr. John Masters whom is a nice guy.

Well, I wont be that 'crippled' now. Going to Uni will be much more convenient but I guess I'll miss all the Transperth Buses and Trains..

Some overview of the car:

Sematan Trip - 22 Feb 2009

Jus that night after I came back from Sabah, Bui Poh asked if I wanted to join them to Sematan on the next day, 22nd Feb 2009. Since I havent been there for quite sometime, I agreed. We came to an agreement to meet at Bao's place at 8.00a.m.

And so I set my alarm clock to 6.30a.m. for the next day. Who knows, when the alarm rang at 0630 hrs, I woke up and wonder why on Earth I wake up so early on a Sunday morning. So I switched it off and went back to sleep. It was 0820 when Shean Tyng text me asking 'are u coming?' I still at that moment thought, come where? Holy shit, only then I realised I am damm late!.Took a quick bath and went to pick Shean Tyng then proceed to Bao's house. I'm the latest and I'm late by an hour.

Went Batu Kawa town to have breakfast and who knows we all went to the wrong shop. The 'tong fen' taste like rubber band. EEwww..

And after breakfast, we proceed to Sematan Palm Beach Resort. Initially their plan was to go kayaking.. 1200hrs KAYAKING? Crazy...who knows water activity there was suspended since October 2008. And so without much choice, we went cycling towards an small fishing village under the HOT afternoon sun which Barbequed us!

I had terrible sun burn with painful skin after the cycling and my skin on both hands began peeling off when I reached Perth... Like people got skin disease..

Pictures story: not that full though...
