Sydney Day 5 - Western Australia Day 1

26th November 2008, my last day at Sydney and also my first day of trip to Western Australia. We have to catch the flight at 9am that morning to fly back to Perth. Having missed the first and only train we can catch 4.30a.m., we have to resort to taking the cab which cause us sixty bucks each and also cause us to be dizzy cause of the terrible driving skill of the cab driver who likes to jerk his car much.

First day of Perth tour around was nothing much with just city walkaround, basically King's Park and Murray Street.

First thing after we landed at Perth was to head down straight to NorthBridge to Good Fortune to taste its famous roasted duck rice!.. Thanks to Delia for picking us up from the airport as well.

While walking around, we came across this camera shop closing down and was having an auction for all its stuffs.. It really attracted me and Chee Shing as most of the items is DSLR and lenses, auctioned at quite a low price.

Next, we placed an reservation for a car to be rented from AVIS car rental, the same company as we rented our car in Wollongong. The car we chosen was an Camry Altise, ready to be collected the next day, 9.30a.m.

We then head back to my place after dinner at a Japanese restaurant at Murray street before catching the bus back to my place and by then, everyone was really exhausted and we were fast asleep time to minor time difference and the whole day of travelling around.

That's all for the day, stay tuned for the coming days of more exciting touring around...
