Received two boxes of stuffs from Kuching last Saturday...Itr brought over by my sis of course, not posted over...
These 2 boxes is gonna save me lots of money buying shampoo, soap and toothpaste and stationary here..Aud15 for a bottle of shampoo? I rather stock more from Malaysia..after all it serves the same purpose..
In addition, I've got herbs...so many packets of bak kut teh..and herbs.. Guess wads in the box of Nutrilife? 2 boxes of that consists of 12 pcs of MOONCAKE!..hahaz..at least i got some to eat during Mid Autumn Festival...though its not autumn here..its gonna be spring.. Thanks mum for packing and sending all these over here...
Here are the things I got...
I've also been jogging down to city once in a while...but its 3 times for this week since its study free week and I've got lots of time to manipulate..Its 9.5km to jog down to Esplanade Busport and I'll catch a bus back...Healthy yeah? Took my camera with me last week during the jog to shoot some pictures...Too bad its not during sunset..Else the sky would be nice..Did took some with my phone during other sunset jogs..but I guess it wont be nice..and I'm lazy to upload those too.. I havent got my 18-200mm back..so the angles for these pictures is kinda narrow..cause its shot with the 50mm f1.8
1. Some dono what flowers on the track...
2. On the way.
3. Jog track..beside highway and the Swan River
4. Why its called Swan River? Notice those swans?
5. Busport is nearing..
6. Esplanade Busport - Catching Transperth Route 30 to Salter Point back to my place
7. I like this shot the most..!
Besides some pictures shot during jogging, I've got some taken during a market visit to Subiaco market..Vege and fruits there are so cheap..compared to Coles..
1. Fruits on sale...can only see apple..the rest are blurred..
2. Vegetables on sale..
3. Flowers are on sale too..!
These are basically pictures I've got for the time being....I really hope I'll get my lens back within next week...! Spring is coming and there are just so many flowers around to shoot..! Dont wanna miss it..
Since I am posting this at the eve of our Independence day, I'd just like to wish all Malaysians a Happy Independence Day..! I know this year the celebration mood might be low as compared to previous years as the inflation rate increases and people are burdened...
I love Malaysia...but..stop all those political crap..!its making everyone sick...I know everyone is corrupted..but stay corrupt and do your work to ensure everyone is happy..!No human in this world commit no sin..! Work harder and do what you people elected are elected for..no matter is PAS, DAP, PAKATAN or BN...whoever governs, nobody cares..! Its just our life that we cares..Provide us with a good living environment, less crime and we'll vote for you...Dont make empty and stupid promises...Lowering fuel price is a stupid and empty promise..Unless we are Saudi Arab or Iraq or Brunei..!

From Swinburne, I transferred to Curtin University of Technology. From Marketing and Management major, I switched to Marketing and Logistics. Logistics is the course in which I have always wanted to do, to have a more professional qualification to help in dad's company in future. Its not offered widely in Malaysia, only diploma in UCSI Kuching. Finally I got the chance to persue a degree in Logistic, a great chance indeed to be given the opportunity to study overseas. I know many wants but dont have the chance.
Without realizing, I have set foot in Perth for more than a month, coming to 2. Its already week 4 of study for me and week 4 is coming to an end pretty soon and it'll be study free week next week. Its really a late posting...Time flies? Now I agree, not before uni starts...
Looking back, I came on the 8th July. That's the time when I really got nothing to do here. Luckily Delia is around and she brought me around Perth. Spent the next few days driving around Perth, trying hard to recognize the routes, places so that when mum and sis come on the 14th July, I can bring them around.
Finally, on the 14th July, mum and sis arrive at Perth International Airport around 7 something in the morning after clearing the quarantine and customs checking. Its freaking cold that time, especially early in the morning.
We spend most of our time at my place here, the place where I am going to stay for the next 2 years..Hopefully..Cooked dinner most of the time instead of dining out as its hell expensive to eat out. It become a routine that we all will watch drama every night after everyone had dinner and bathed. Its really an relaxing time for mum especially, away from all the work pressure, though for the first week, she got lotsa emails and telephone calls from Kuching. Its freaking boring in Perth if you got nothing to do. The hour and minute hand of the watch seems to be sticked with glue, not moving. Even my sis complaint, 'why still 9pm ha?' Too much time. But as days passes, we kinda get used to this kinda slow life.
Of course, we went around Perth. First few days, we were totally driving around blindly, without knowing where we are actually headed to. Went Garden City and Northbridge a few times, and also Fremantle. That's the only route I remember. Then, on the 17th, I got my Iphone 3G. With its GPS, we manage to go around many places. We even went to Mandurah by driving. I also got my study table and chair from IKEA, only made possible with the GPS navigation. We also went to the City by train...A great experience for mum I guess...walking around the city..and, guess she was freaked when the train door closed before she manage to get out on our way back. Called her and told her to get off at the next stop and I went there to bring her back...sorry...Besides......Thanks to Delia for her car...! without it, we will all be stuck in the house...not being able to go much places.
I skipped most of the orientation activities organized by the Uni to spend more time with mum and sis. Its a time well spent to be with family. I am really grateful for mum and sis to take the time to be with me in Perth for the first 2 weeks, even extended their stay right up to the day before class start!. Thanks mum...Thanks sis..! and of course, thanks dad for giving me this opportunity.! It really felt so warm especially during winter to have family around. Wonder what would I feel for the 2 weeks here if my family is not around....! Must be the most suffering time ever in my 22 years of life...
As for the places we went, pictures speaks more than words...
The day I came, shot this at Changi. Compare the Airbus A380 with the Boeing 747 behind it?
Koala Bears...
Quokka.
Small Kangaroo
King's Park
Swan Bell Tower...
Lastly, my living room...What's that green BUG on the sofa?
Once again, its really a great time spent with you mum and sis...thanks for the support and time..!
